Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about agentView, use cases, pricing, and technical details.

What is agentView?

agentView is a browser-based digital-signage platform. Any screen with a web browser becomes a controllable display — no special hardware, no USB stick, no app installation.

Which devices can I use as a display?

Anything with a modern web browser: smart TVs, tablets, old laptops, Raspberry Pi, Android sticks, Chromecast with browser, iPads. Open display.agentview.de, enter the pairing code, done.

Do I need an app or extra software?

No. agentView is entirely browser-based. The customer screen just opens a URL; everything else runs through our dashboard, API, or AI agent.

How much does agentView cost?

Currently free during public beta. Premium licenses (remove watermark, more storage) start at €4 per display per month.

Can I control multiple screens at once?

Yes. The dashboard and API can send content to individual displays, groups, or every display in your organization.

Does it work offline?

An internet connection is required for initial pairing and updates. Loaded content is cached locally; brief network outages are bridged.

What is MCP and why does it come up so often?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard for AI-agent integration. agentView ships an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, and other agents drive displays directly — no human in the loop.

Can I send my own HTML content?

Yes. Via dashboard, REST API, or MCP you can send arbitrary HTML including CSS and JavaScript. External URLs, assets, and fonts are managed per display.

Which templates are already available?

Ready-to-use templates for food service (menus, opening hours), waiting rooms (health info), reception (welcome, wayfinding), team dashboards (KPIs), and smart home. New templates arrive regularly.

Who has access to my content?

Content is isolated per account. Group features enable shared access within your organization. Data is hosted in the EU; we are GDPR-compliant.
